Position Summary:
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing transportation and logistics operations, ensuring efficient delivery of goods and services, shipping/receiving.
 
This is a full time and In-Person position.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Working closely with Logistics & Scheduling Manager to develop logistic processes and organize shipments.
  • Plan and manage Company-owned and operated trucks as well as outside carriers to ensure loads are picked up and delivered in a timely manner.
  • Organize drivers schedule  and organize runs by departure of routes.
  • Monitor and report any delays in shipment.
  • Manage the logistics aspect of the company from shipping of finished goods to picking up (when needed) and receiving of material.
  • Organize finished goods and warehouse areas so that goods and material are properly stored.
  • Maintain daily reports/checklist for department and send “weekly report summary” to management.
  • Must maintain all documentation faithfulness to legislation and organizational policies & Procedures. 
  • Negotiate with and manage contracts and service level agreements for third party suppliers and/or service providers.
  • Manage the shipping and receiving crews includes hiring , maintaining their schedules, training , productivity. 
  • Keep track on KPI’s, QC & productivity report. 
  • Communicate the organizations safety policies in accordance with applicable federal safety standards and local laws.
  • Conduct fleet management on company vehicles as necessary, ensuring legal and safety compliance.
  • Maintain positive behaviors, approaches, attitude and commitment to interpersonal service toward customers, visitors, and coworkers. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with senior management and other appropriate departments to report any claims/accidents/convictions/maintenance issues in a timely fashion.
  • Regular maintenance of trucks/ trailers/ tractors.
  • Make sure shipping and back area of the plant is cleaned.
  • Regular maintenance of premises such as garbage disposal.
  • Other duties assigned by Director of Operations.

Education & Experience:
  • 5 + years of Supervisory/management experience.
  • Logistics knowledge & experience.
  • Window & Doors industry knowledge.
  • Higher secondary school Diploma.
  • 5+ years of direct work experience in an operations.
  • Basic knowledge of MS-Office suite. 
  • Strong Leadership skills.
