Position Summary:
The IT Administrator is responsible for providing technical support across the organization. This individual will resolve issues related to hardware, software, network, and any other technology related issues at stage windows inc., providing technical support to cross-functional teams at all company locations. The IT Administrator will also be responsible for assisting in implementing any new technologies and devices within stage inc. This is a full-time position which requires strong organizational, interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment delivering high-quality results according to stage windows standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support & Maintenance: Oversee and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, phones, printers, and related equipment to ensure seamless operations.
- Software & Platform Management: Install, configure, and support all software across various hardware and windows platforms to optimize performance.
- ERP Expertise: Act as the subject matter expert on ERP structure, processes, and functionalities, ensuring smooth integration with production systems and machinery.
- ERP System Management: Maintain and enhance the ERP system to support department needs, including implementing minor changes and facilitating product development.
- ERP Development: Develop and implement new functionalities and logic to streamline processes within the ERP system.
- External Support Coordination: Liaise with external IT support teams for database maintenance and security to ensure system integrity.
- Building Security: Oversee and manage the building’s security systems, including alarms and video surveillance.
- IT Issue Tracking: Implement and maintain a helpdesk ticketing system to track all IT systems and hardware issues, ensuring quick resolution.
- System Documentation: Maintain comprehensive system documentation, ensuring it is accurate, relevant, accessible, and secure.
- Active Directory Management: Manage and maintain active directory user accounts to ensure proper access control.
- User Orientation & Training: Provide orientation and training to new users on existing technology to promote efficient usage.
- Licensing & Compliance: Ensure proper installation, usage, and upgrade of all software and hardware licenses, maintaining full compliance.
- Hardware Inventory: Maintain a detailed inventory of all hardware devices, ensuring proper management and tracking.
- Cybersecurity Protection: Assist in implementing and monitoring cybersecurity measures and educating employees on best practices.
- Additional Responsibilities: Adapt to evolving business needs by taking on new tasks and responsibilities as required.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in technology.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in computer science or a technology related field.
- Willingness to learn new ideas, concepts, and approaches.
- Exposure to both windows and MacOS operating systems.
- Ability to explain technical concepts and theories to non-technical audiences.
- Knowledge of general computer hardware and peripherals.
- Knowledge associated with it security best practices and technologies such as user management, anti-virus software, basic firewall configuration.
- High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability.
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of applicable IT laws and regulations.
- Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.
